Fuel gets cheaper for the 5th straight day on Monday

New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices were reduced on Monday by 17-19 paise per litre. Petrol is retailing at Rs 76.52 a litre in the national capital while diesel is at Rs 71.39, a reduction of 17 paise from Sunday.
In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 82.04 per litre, in Chennai at Rs 76.52 per litre and in Kolkata at Rs 75.05 a litre.Similarly, a litre of diesel is being sold at Rs 74.79, Rs. 71.39 and Rs  69.73 in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata respectively.
 
The oil marketing companies (OMCs) continued to cut prices of petrol and diesel on reduction on rates of the crude oil globally. (UNI)
