The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSBE) declared the Class 10 exam results on Saturday and an overall pass percentage of 82.5 was recorded.
The exams for Class 10 were held in March this year. An official statement issued by the GSBE said girl students fared better than boys. While 86.69 percent of girls who appeared for the exams passed, it was 79.12 of total boys who cleared the boards.
A total of 6,00, 999 students appeared for the school boards and 5,77,556 candidates were successful.
Gandhinagar district achieved the highest percentage, 87.22 percent, while Porbandar district had the lowest percentage, 74.57 percent of success.The results were posted on the board's website at 8 am. In 2023, the overall passing percentage was 64.62.(UNI)
