In a first, THIS company implements menopause leave

Kochi: 'Push 360' becomes the first agency in the country to announce the right for menstrual leave.

'Push 360,' the agency which has produced several commercials featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Aishwarya Rai, Nagarjuna, Mohanlal and many other famous stars, has announced the periodical holidays for its employees in menopause health conditions.

The company, which has been working in the advertising sector for 30 years in the country, has its offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Kerala.

"PUSH 360 announces holidays with the conviction that Menopause menstrual leave days are also necessary in the workplace as it affects both physical and mental status of a woman. I see this as a most proud decision by Push 360, which has been working in the field of advertising and branding for 30 years" V A Shrikumar, CMD of the agency, said on Friday.

The leave will be on the pattern of menstrual leave implemented in Kerala Universities.

Menstrual leave was implemented in all the Universities of Kerala in past few days. Universities in Kerala have announced menstrual leave with an additional entitlement of two leave days. (UNI)
