India reports 10th Corona death as nation-wide curfew begins

Chennai:Amid intensive efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus and Prime Minister Narendra Modi announcing a 21-day nation-wide curfew to maintain social distancing, Tamil Nadu reported the first death early this morning.

Health Minister Dr C Vijayabaskar in a tweet confirmed the death at Government Rajaji Hospital in Madurai early this morning as the patient, a 54-year-old man,failed to respond to the best of treatment provided by the doctors due to the virus.(UNI)
