Madhya Pradesh road accident: 14 dead, 21 injured after pick-up van overturns in Dindori; CM announces ex gratia

Fourteen people died after a pickup vehicle went out of control and overturned in Madhya Pradesh’s Dindori.

The horrific road accident took place near Barjhar Ghat. 21 people have also been injured in the accident.

The accident happened late night and the police, with the help of local people, evacuated the injured. The injured are being treated at Shahpura Community Health Centre.

According to the report, the people traveling in the pickup were returning after participating in some program.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed deep condolence over the untimely demise of many precious lives in the accident and announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of victims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressedhis grief over the death of people in the Dindori road accident.
