Maharashtra: Another incident of hoarding crash occured in thane area of Maharashtra city .A massive hoarding suddenly collapsed at the Sahajanand Chowk around 10:30 AM damaging several vehicles parked there, with no casualties reported so far officials said here on Friday.
A huge hoarding erected at one corner of the road got uprooted and collapsed on the road and a couple of cars and a few two-wheelers that were parked there damaged, eyewitnesses said.
The Kalyan Fire Brigade rushed to the spot along with the Police to carry out a relief operation. No casualties were reported so far in the mishap though a large crowd gathering resulted in a traffic jam on the accident spot.

A similar accident occured on May 13, where a massive hoarding weighing around 250 tons collapsed on a petrol pump and some homes in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar suburb. In the accident more than 17 persons were killed and 80 were injured and a number of vehicles were damaged in the collapse.
