During the elections, Mahayuti also announced to increase the amount of Ladki Bahin Yojana on its return to power. Focus on farmers: After Lok Sabha elections, the Eknath Shinde government made big announcements to provide relief to cotton and soybean farmers. The election results show that farmers in the Vidarbha region openly supported the Mahayuti alliance. Interestingly, BJP faced big defeat in Vidarbha in the Lok Sabha elections held 6 months ago.
