Maharashtra: History of Marathwada liberation war depicted through the lens

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A three-day exhibition of rare photographs depicting the history of the Marathwada Liberation War was inaugurated here on Sunday.

Inaugurating the exhibition, Maharashtra Minister Atul Save commended the effort of the Central Communications Bureau in conveying the glorious history of struggle and sacrifice of the Marathwada liberation war to the next generation.

The multimedia film exhibition based on the Marathwada liberation struggle and the Indian freedom movement has been organised at Siddharth Garden jointly by the Central Bureau of Communications, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Municipal Corporation Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Save said the youth will take inspiration from the sacrifice of freedom fighters and appealed to all the citizens to visit the exhibition.

The exhibition will be open from 9 am to 6 pm every day till September 17.

September 17 marks the Marathawada Liberation Day.
