Mig 29k trainer aircraft of Navy crashes in Goa, pilots eject safely

Panaji: A Mig 29k trainer aircraft of Indian Navy crashed at Dabolim in South Goa on Saturday.
   

According to Navy, the trainer aircraft suffered engine fire which caused the crash. The incident took place after the aircraft had taken off from INS Hansa at Dabolim near Vasco. Pilots of the aircraft Capt M Sheokhand and Lt Cdr Deepak Yadav ejected safely.
 
 ''During a training mission, after take off from INS HANSA at Dabolim a  Mig 29k trainer aircraft suffered an engine fire. The pilots Capt M Sheokhand and Lt Cdr Deepak Yadav ejected safely,'' the Navy said in a tweet.(UNI)
