Most-wanted terrorist, LeT commander Abu Dujana killed

Srinagar: Most-wanted Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant Abu Dujana was today reportedly killed in an encounter with security forces in the south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where some more militants are hiding, official sources said. Acting on a specific information about the presence of militants, security forces and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint operation at village Hakarpora Newa in Pulwama early this morning.
 


However, when the security forces were moving towards a particular in the village, the militants hiding there opened indiscriminate fire with automatic weapons, which was returned, ensuing a fierce gun battle, the sources added. Abu was reportedly killed and fierce encounter was going on. There could be one or two more militants hiding in the area, they said. Details are awaited, the sources said. (UNI)
