Multiple blasts at Christian convention centre in Kochi; 1 dies, 30 injured

Kochi: One woman died and over 36 people, including children, were injured in multiple blasts at a Christian convention centre at Kalamaserry here on Sunday.

Multiple blasts rocked the Zamra International Convention and Exhibition Centre during a prayer meeting of the Jehova's Witnesses, injuring several believers.

All the injured were taken to nearby hospitals, and the police began investigating the blasts. The blasts occurred when as many as 2,000 people were attending the prayer meeting, sources said. (UNI)
