Mumbai: Labourer abducts 6-yr-old boy, sexually assaults him; slaps multiple times for screaming, threatened to kill him

Mumbai: A six-year-old boy was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted by a 22-year-old man, police said here on Wednesday.

According to police, the victim was abducted and was sexually assaulted in the bushes near BPT railway tracks adjacent to Wadala Railway Station in south Central Mumbai between 1:05 PM and 3:15 PM on April 15, and on the same night an offence was registered under Sections 137(2), 115(2), and 351(3) of BNS along with Sections 4, 6, and 8 of the POCSO Act.

The accused, identified as Gulfraz Jiul Alam (22), who worked as a labourer alongside the victim’s father, is a resident of Katihar, in Bihar, and was immediately arrested after the offence was registered, police further said.

As per the complaint, the accused forcibly took the minor without the consent of the boy’s parents, undressed him, and sexually assaulted him. When the child screamed, the accused slapped him multiple times and threatened to kill him if he told his parents about the assault.
