Nirvani Akhara Mahamandaleshwar Kapil Dev dies of Covid-19

Haridwar: Nirvani Akhara’s Mahamandaleshwar (head) Kapil ‘Muni’ (saint) passed away due to coronavirus at a private hospital in Dehradun, an official said on Thursday.

Kumbh Mela (Fair) in-charge Arjun Singh Sengar said the Mahamandaleshwar, who had come to attend the ongoing Kumbh mela in Haridwar, contracted coronavirus and was admitted to a private hospital in Dehradun where he died.

Saints, who came in contact with Kapil Muni will be tested for covid-19 and isolated. (UNI)
