Pak violates ceasefire on LoC in Rajouri, Poonch, India retaliates

Jammu: Pakistan on Friday violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Poonch, Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Pakistani Army this morning at around 0800 hours fired unprovoked and violated the ceasefire in Mankote,  Krishna Ghati Sectors of District Poonch and Nowshera Sector of District Rajouri," a defence spokesman here said. 
 
"Pak Army initiated Unprovoked Cease Fire Violation with Firing  of Small Arms and heavy Shelling with Mortars along LoC in Mankote, Krishna Ghati Sector, District Poonch and Nowshera Sector, District Rajouri," he added.The spokesman said that Army retaliated befittingly while no injury or major damage has been reported so far on own side, the spokesman added.(UNI)
