Pakistani Ranger caught by BSF personnel near Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan

Sri Ganganagar: A Pakistani ranger who had entered the Indian border on Saturday morning, was apprehended by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan, amid ongoing tensions on the India-Pakistan border following the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to official sources, the Pakistani Ranger attempted to cross the Indian border near Rai Singh Nagar in Sri Ganganagar but was apprehended by BSF personnel.

After this incident, the security on the international border has been tightened further, and the BSF personnel are ready to give a befitting reply to any situation from the Pakistani border.

The Pakistani Ranger who was caught is a resident of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He is being questioned thoroughly.

However, it is not yet clear for what purpose the Pakistani Ranger was trying to enter the Indian border. The BSF officials are interrogating him so that his intention of crossing the border can be ascertained.

Following the incident, border security has been intensified, with BSF jawans fully alert and vigilant for any suspicious activity.
