PM Modi, Amit Shah call on Advani and Joshi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah on Friday called on the party patriarch L K Advani.In a Tweet, Mr Modi said the BJP's resounding victory in the just concluded general elections should be attributed to the hard work of the veteran leader.

"Called on respected Advani Ji. The BJP's successes today are possible because greats like him spent decades building the party and providing a fresh ideological narrative to the people," Mr Modi tweeted.

Prime Minister also met another BJP stalwart Dr M M Joshi.Both the leaders Advani and M M Joshi did not contest elections this year.(UNI)
