PM Modi congratulates team RRR & The Elephant Whisperers for Oscar awards

New Delhi: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the RRR team for winning the Oscar award for 'Naatu Naatu' song from RRR movie for Best Original Song.

Calling it "Exceptional!" Modi said that "The popularity of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is global"

" It will be a song that will be remembered for years to come. Congratulations to @mmkeeravaani, @boselyricist and the entire team for this prestigious honour."

In another tweet, Modi also praised the makers of The Elephant Whisperers for getting Oscar award best documentary short film.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said it's a "proud moment for India"
