PM Modi congratulates team RRR & The Elephant Whisperers for Oscar awards

New Delhi: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the RRR team for winning the Oscar award for 'Naatu Naatu' song from RRR movie for Best Original Song.

Calling it "Exceptional!" Modi said that "The popularity of ‘Naatu Naatu’ is global"

" It will be a song that will be remembered for years to come. Congratulations to @mmkeeravaani, @boselyricist and the entire team for this prestigious honour."

In another tweet, Modi also praised the makers of The Elephant Whisperers for getting Oscar award best documentary short film.

"Congratulations to @EarthSpectrum, @guneetm and the entire team of ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ for this honour. Their work wonderfully highlights the importance of sustainable development and living in harmony with nature. #Oscars" he tweeted.

Praising the entire team of The Elephant Whisperers, he said ,"A heartwarming story of love and co-existence in harmony with nature; its a beautiful story of Bomman, Belli & baby elephant Raghu set in Tamil Nadu"
