PM Modi in Nagpur, pays floral tribute to RSS founder Hedgewar, visits Deekshabhoomi

Nagpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on Sunday, paid floral tribute to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at Smruti Mandir.

The prime minister attended a series of programmes here during the day.

The prime minister was welcomed by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the airport.

Around 4000 police forces have been deployed in Nagpur city today.

PM Modi participated in various programmes, including the laying of the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art Madhav Netralaya. Modi also visited the Deekshabhoomi.
