Lucknow:The heath condition of Samajwadi Party MP from Rampur Azam Khan is critical and the leader is on oxygen support, Medanta Hospital said on Saturday.
On May 9, Khan, 72, was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow from Sitapur jail where he was being treated for coronavirus.
Recently, he was admitted in private ward outside ICU also. He was shifted to ICU again on Thursday due to increased lung infection.
Azam Khan's son Abdullah Azam, a former MLA who was also also rushed to Medanta, has recovered from the contagion.
Both of them have been lodged in Sitapur jail in connection with several cases.(UNI)
