Ayodhya (UP): A sea of devotees descended in Ayodhya to have a darshan of Lord Ram in his grand temple at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi on the second day of the consecration of the child form idol of Ram Lalla on Tuesday.

A huge crowd of devotees started reaching the Ramjanmabhoomi site early morning in Ayodhya to have the darshan of Ram Lalla. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm and curiosity among the people regarding the darshan of Ram Lalla.

The temple administration and security forces are facing increased workload due to the large number of devotees arriving. Devotees are being appealed to maintain restraint through the public address system, but there is no space left to keep sesame seeds in the temple courtyard and surrounding areas.

Despite the harsh cold and dense fog, everyone from children to the elderly is seen going towards the temple premises, chanting the slogans of Jai Shri Ram.

In view of the huge number of devotees, the district administration has been forced to change the traffic on the route leading to Ayodhya. People are being urged to exercise restraint while visiting. Darshan of God will be made accessible to everyone.

Entry for all vehicles and devotees on foot heading towards Ayodhya has been closed after a massive crowd gathered on Tuesday to offer prayers at the Ram Temple following its grand opening.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh police issued an advisory, appealing to devotees not to visit Ayodhya Dham on January 23 because of the massive crowd at the Temple. All vehicle routes have been diverted, and devotees arriving on foot are also not allowed to enter Ayodhya, it said.

In a social media post on X, Barabanki Police said, "Devotees planning to visit Ayodhya are humbly requested not to go on January 23 due to a massive crowd of pilgrims. Due to the massive rush, the routes of all vehicles heading towards Ayodhya have been diverted, and devotees on foot are also being stopped by the Barabanki police."
