Self proclaimed godman Om Swami arrested

New Delhi: Delhi police today arrested one of the most controversial self proclaimed godman Om Swami from Delhi's Bhajanpura area. Swami Sadachari, also known as Om Swami Maharaj, was nabbed by the inter-state cell of the crime branch. The reason of his arrest his yet unknown. Recently, he was thrashed by locals in Delhi when he tried to misbehave with a woman during a cultural event.

Not just that, he and his associate was accused by a woman of allegedly outraging her modesty by ripping off her clothes in an attempt to humiliate her in full public view at Rajghat area in New Delhi. A case was registered at IP Estate police station. Om Swami was also thrown out of the popular TV reality show Bigg Boss for misbehaving with a fellow woman contestant in January. (UNI)
