Terrorists attack SSB camp in Banihal, ASI among 2 martyred

Jammu: An Assistant Sub Inspector among two attained martyrdom as terrorists attacked the SSB camp near Jawahar Tunnel in Banihal area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir. "The 14th Battalion of SSB is located at Sangaldan in Banihal and our men were on routine job to guard the under construction railway track near Jawahar Tunnel in Banihal when terrorists struck this evening," a SSB official here said.

He said that one head constable R P Yadav got martyred in the attack, adding, "Injured ASI identified as Shan Singh succumbed to his injuries later." "Some injuries are also reported but more details are awaited," he added. (UNI)
