TMC maintaining its winning streak in Panchayat polls

Kolkata,: The Trinamool Congress' unquestionable sway over Panchayat goes on almost sans any semblance of resistance from the Opposition as the ruling party's impending march has virtually decimated the BJP, Left and the Congress in all the three tiers.
The ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) won 2,467 Gram Panchayat seats.According to latest reports,  the TMC was leading in most seats of Panchayat Samities and Gram Panchayat.TMC has won 2, 467 Gram Panchayat seat so far. While, the Opposition BJP and CPI(M) have registered their victory in 386 and 94 seats respectively. Congress party has won 33 seats.
   
The ruling Trinamool Congress is leading in all the seats of Zilla Parishad.In Panchayat Samiti, the ruling party has registered victory in 14 seats and is leading in 24 seats. The other political parties have not won any seat so far.
 
As per State Election Commission (SEC), TMC is leading in 2,683 seats, BJP is leading in 231 seats and CPI(M) is leading in 163 seats. Congress is leading in 55 seats. Independent candidates have successfully registered their victory in 158 seats and is leading in 163 seats of Gram Panchayat.TMC is leading in Nadia's Saguna Gram Panchayat with 27 seats. 

CPI(M) is in second position with 15 seats and BJp in third position with 7 seats. In Bagula-1 Gram Panchayat, TMC is leading in 21 seats, BJP in 3 seats while Independent are leading in 5 seats.
     
In Swarupganj Gram Panchayat, TMC is leading in 22 seats followed by BJP in 16 seats, CPI(M) in 19 seats, Congress in 1 seat and Independent candidates are leading in 4 seats.
   
In Murshidabad's Mirjapur-1 Gram Panchayat, ruling TMC is leading in 11 seats, while CPI(M) and Independent Candidates are leading in 4 seats each. In Sujapur-Kumarpur Gram Panchayat, TMC is leading in 16 seats, BJP leads in 5 seats and CPI(M) in 1 seat.
 
In Imamnagar Gram Panchayat, TMC and Congress are leading in 19 seats each while BJP is leading in 2 seats. Independent candidates are leading in 3 seats. Murshidabad is the stronghold of Congress. It is also the home district of West Bengal Congress president and Lok Sabha MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
 
In North 24 Parganas' Chandipur Gram Panchayat TMC is leading in 18 seats, BJP and CPI(M) are leading in 11 seats each. In Jethia, Congress is leading in 4 seats.In Jethia Gram panchayat, TMC is leading in 23 seats, BJP in 10 seats, CPI(M) in 15 seats. In Shibdaspur Gram panchayat, TMC is leading in all two seats. In Champali Gram Panchayat, TMC is leading in 14 seats and Independent in 9 seats
 
In Cooch-Behar's Chandamari Gram Panchayat, TMC is leading in 16 seats, BJP in 1 seat, Independent Candidates are leading in 9 seats. In Balrampur-1 Gram Panchayat, TMC is leading in 15 seats, BJP in 3 seat.In Purba Medinipur's Iswarpur, TMC is leading in 12 seats followed by BJP's 5, Independent's 12 seats and CPI(M)'s 1 seat. 
 
In Kulbari, both TMC and BJP are leading in 11 seats each while Independent candidates are leading in 2 seats and CPI(M) in 10 seats.Trinamool Congress and BJP are leading in Paschim Medinipur's Shalboni Gram Panchayat with 8 seats each. 
 
In Lodhasuli Gram Panchayat, TMC and BJP both are leading at 9 seats each while Independent candidates are leading in 2 seats.Out of 26 seats Burdwan, TMC is leading in 16, BJP in 1 and Independent candidates in 9 seats.
 
TMC has registered a victory in all 18 seats of Burdwan's Nityanandapur Gram panchayat. In Borobelun-1 Gram Panchayat, TMC has won in 8 seats while another one seat was won by an Independent candidate. In Borobelun-2 Gram Panchayat, TMC has won in 10 seats while remaining one was won by CPI(M).
 
 In Bhatar Gram Panchayat, TMC won 13 seats while 3 seats were won by BJP and CPI(M) each and remaining two seats were won by Independent candidates.Eds : Pls Pick Up Suitably From Earlier Series.(UNI)
