In a tragic incident, a family in Jharkhand lost his only son a day before Raksha Bandhan. The teenager was eating rasgulla while lying down and the sweet got stuck in his throat and he choked to death.
The incident took place in Patamhulia village in Galudih in East Singhbhum.
As per reports, the deceased was identified as Amit Singh, 17, son of Sujit Singh. On Sunday, Amit was lying down on bed and playing games on his mobile.
Meanwhile, his uncle Rohini Singh, who returned home after three months, brought rasgulla. Amit started eating rasgulla while lying down. While eating, the rasgulla got stuck in his throat and Amit started suffocating.
Despite his uncle's best efforts, the rasgulla could not be taken out. After this, he vomited and the family took him to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
