TRAGIC! 12 killed as bus rams into tempo, carrying driver's family returning from wedding, in Rajasthan's Dholpur

Bharatpur: 12 people, including 8 women and 3 children travelling in a tempo, died when their vehicle collided with a bus in Rajasthan's Dholpur district, police said on Sunday.
 
The bus driver and a child were injured in the accident on Saturday night in the Bari police station area.
 
Tempo driver Irfan and his entire family died in the accident. According to information received from the police, 15 family members of Irfan - a resident of Karim Colony Gumat in Bari - had gone to attend the wedding ceremony of his sister in Barauli under the Sarmathura police station.
 
They were returning to Bari when the Jaipur-bound bus from Dholpur hit their tempo near Sunnipur village on National Highway 11B at around 11 p.m.
 
Irfan's brother, who was following in another tempo, and people travelling in other vehicles passing by informed the police about the accident. Police reached the spot and took everyone to Dholpur Hospital.
