Mirzapur (UP): Ten youths were killed and three others injured when a tractor collided with a truck in Kacchwa area of Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said on Friday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhinandan said that the incident took place around 1 am when labourers were returning to their houses from Varanasi on tractor.
"On Prayagraj Highway, the tractor collided with the truck coming from Aurai," he said.
He said 10 people travelling on the tractor were killed on the spot.
"Those killed have been identified as Bhanu (25), Vikas (30), Anil (35), Suraj Kumar (22), Sanohar (25), Rakesh Kumar (25), Nitin (22), Roshan Kumar (25), Prem Kumar (40), and Rahul Kumar (26)," he said.
