TRAGIC: Newlyweds returning from honeymoon killed in road accident; their car collided with bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims in Kerala

Pathanamthitta (Kerala): Four members of a family, including a newly married couple, were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided with a bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh, at Murinjakal in Koodal around 4.50 am on Sunday.
 
The victims were identified as newly wed couple Nikhil Eapen (29) and Anu Biju (26), Nikhil's father Mathayi Eapen and Anu's father Biju George, police said.
 
The accident occurred when the couple was returning home in Ranni from Thiruvananthapurm Airport after their honeymoon trip in Malaysia.
 
The tragedy happened on the stretch of Punalur-Muvattupuzha state highway. Three died on the spot and the woman died at a private hospital in Pathanamthitta, police added.
