Two sisters burnt alive in Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr: In a suspected case of honour killing, two sisters were burnt alive in BB Nagar area here late on Thursday night.Police sources here said that two sisters, Neelu and her cousin Shivani, who went to the Bahipur village to attend marriage ceremony of their brother Rahul, were charred to death in a room. 

Nearby people rushed to the spot to rescue the girls when they heard their screams but in vain. Prima facie, it appears to be a matter of honour killing as some injuries were found on the necks of both the girls, police said, adding that further probe into the matter was on. (UNI)
