Bahraich (UP): A man-eater wolf was trapped by the team of the Forest Department from Mahsi area of Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, official sources said here.
Sources said that the Forest Department team trapped a man-eating wolf, which has become a synonym of terror in the Hardi area of the district for the last one and a half months. The man-eating wolf was caught from a sugarcane field, they said.
Divisional Forest Officer Ajit Singh said that two more wolves are still moving in the basin. Efforts are being made to catch them too, he said.
Eight people have been killed so far in the wolf attack.
It may be noted that three man-eating wolves have already been caught in the past.
