Sources said that the incident took place in the Tepra village on Wednesday night when the wolf attacked Pushpa Devi while she was asleep. The wolf attacked the neck on the victim and dragged her from the cot, they said.

Sources said that when the woman raised an alarm the wolf was chased by the villagers. The woman was taken to the community health centre in Mahsi from where she was referred to medical college after first aid, they said.
