22-yr-old commits suicide after losing huge money in online games in Odisha

Kendrapara: Playing online games costs death for a 22 years old youth who committed suicide by hanging after losing huge money over a period of time.

This shocking incident took place at Manpur village under Aul police station in coastal Kendrapara district.

Police on Tuesday said 22-years old science graduate Ashis kumar Das lost huge money over a period of time and committed suicide on Monday night after losing his mental balance.

The youth had a wordy duel with the family members who have advised him not to play an online game as he was losing money every time.

Depressed and frustrated over losing huge money by playing an online game, the youth locked the door of his room and committed suicide by hanging himself.

The family members found a suicide note in which Ashis had stated that he had recently lost Rs 10,000 by playing online game.

Aul police have registered an Unnatural Death case, seized the body and sent it for autopsy.

It may be noted here that 26-year-old driver Debendra Parida of Bhuasini village under Balikuda police station on Sunday night committed suicide by hanging himself as he lost about Rs 2 lakh after playing online PUBJ game. (UNI)
