Anti Corruption Branch lodges three FIRs against Kejriwal and co

New Delhi: Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) today informed the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Abhilash Malhotra that three separate FIRs has been registered on a criminal complaint filed against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others in an alleged PWD scam. Rahul Sharma, founder of Roads Anti-Corruption Organisation (RACO), has filed a complaint against Kejriwal, his brother-in-law Surender Bansal, proprietor of a construction firm and a public servant for alleged irregularities in the grant of contracts for roads and sewer lines in Delhi.
 

Alleging that two unknown bikers recently fired gunshots at him, Rahul Sharma requested the court to issue a direction to police to lodge an FIR. The Magistrate directed the Assistant Commissioner of ACB to assess the threat perception on Rahul Sharma and file a status report on June 8 in this regard. (UNI)
