Bengaluru makes quarantine mandatory for people entering from THESE two states

Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) chief commissioner Gaurav Gupta on Monday said that quarantine is mandatory for those from the states like Maharashtra and Kerala.

Speaking to newsmen here, he said that the state government has decided to taking preventive measures to prevent the virus from spreading and mandatory quarantine for people is necessary.

Corona barriers are strictly enforced. Gaurav Gupta said tightening of the containment zones would also take place, he added.

He also said all the check posts on the outskirts of the city have strict vigil on the vehicles entering to the city and asked officials to follow COVID-19 guidelines. (UNI)
