Imprisonment for 15 SIMI ultras who raised Anti national slogans

Bhopal: A local court today sentenced 15 members of the proscribed Students’ Islamic Movement of India to three years’ imprisonment and fines of Rs 1,000 each after pronouncing them guilty of raising anti-national slogans in the premises on May 7, 2014 while returning from a hearing. 

Chief Judicial Magistrate RK Sharma awarded the punishment to Abu Faisal and the others. Of the 18 who uttered slogans, three were subsequently neutralised in an encounter. (UNI)
