CBSE sets up probe panel to go into student's death

New Delhi: Minister of State for Human Resource Deve (HRD) Upendra Kushwaha today announced that the Central Board of Secondary Education had formed a probe panel to fix responsibility for the death of a seven-year-old student in Gurugram’s Ryan International School and warned of the possbility of cancellation of CBSE affiliation if found wanting. The two-member board has been asked to submit its report about the death of the Class 2 student on its premises within two days.
 

Mr Kushwaha warned that the culprits would not be spared, saying "CBSE has formed a probe panel and if the school administration is held responsible, then its CBSE affiliation might get cancelled." The Gurugram based school where the horrific incident occurred yesterday has been asked to send a report along with FIR filed in the case within two days, CBSE sources said. (UNI)
