New Delhi:The body of a man in a highly decomposed state was found hanging on a tree in a forest area of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), police said on Friday.
The police received a PCR call at around 18:30 hours where the caller informed that a body has been found hanging in the jungle of JNU. Acting on the call, police headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Vasant Kunj North reached the spot and found a body hanging from a tree there, said police.
During preliminary enquiry, it was found that a highly decomposed body was of a man aged around 40-45 years old who is yet to be identified.The crime team and forensic team were called to the spot for examination. An inquest proceeding is underway.(UNI)
