Deepa and Sakshi in Super Achievers List under 30 in Asia: Forbes Magazine

New York: Olympian gymnast Deepa Karmakar and Rio bronze medallist wrestler Sakshi Malik was inducted by the prestigious Forbes Magazine in the list of 'Super Achievers' under the age of 30 in Asia.More than 50 Indians are included in this list.

In Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List 2017, 300 young business people have been given space in 10 different categories, including entertainment, finance, venture capital, retail, social business and technology.Young people who are under the age of 30 and are constantly facing new challenges.

In this list, 53 Indians are included and they are second to 76 of China.Interestingly, the 23-year-old Deepa is ahead in this list who became India's first female gymnast to qualify for the finals of the Olympics.She missed the medal while staying in fourth place.Sakshi Malik, who won a bronze in the 58kg category at the Rio Olympics also got a place in this list.

The 25-year-old Sharath Gayakwad India's first paralympic swimmer, is also included in the Super Achievers.Arjuna Award winner Sharath has 96 medals.Forbes while praising Sharath said "Sharat felt that swimming is not enough, but it is still difficult to find the right clothes for swimming in the country, so he established an intermediary laugh among international and domestic sellers.
