Former DMK MP suffers leg fracture in Bison attack

Chennai: Former Lok Sabha MP of the DMK suffered a fracture on his leg after he was attacked by a bison near Periyakulam in the southern Theni district of Tamil Nadu.

Police said the former MP R. Gnanagurusamy (76), who had represented the Periyakulam in Lok Sabha between 1996 and 1998, suffered serious injuries when a bison attacked him when he was on his way to his farm on Wednesday.

He suffered a fracture on his leg and was admitted to a private hospital. (UNI)
