Kolkata: Four JMB terrorists, suspected to have beeninvolved in anti-India activities and engaged in recruiting unsuspected youth
for the terror group, have been arrested from two entry points of
Howrah and Sealdah stations in the city after the Kolkata Police laid
an ambush following specific inputs.
Police investigating the trails of Bangladesh-based outfit on Tuesday
said among the four arrested Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB)
terrorists, three hail from Bangladesh and one from Birbhum
district of West Bengal, possessing Islamist State literature and other
incriminating documents.
While two terrorists, identified as Md Jiaur Rahman and Mamonur
Rashid - the Bangladeshis, were arrested from close to Sealdah station
early on Tuesday, two others Md Sahin Alam and Robiul Islam were
arrested from Howrah Station yesterday.
