Amaravati: Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre here said on Monday.
In a bulletin, it said heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the same period.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Southwest monsoon has been active over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and weak over Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places over Guntur district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.
Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and at one or two places over Rayalaseema, during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added. (UNI)
