Morena: At least ten lives were snuffed out in this district until early Tuesday following suspected consumption of spurious liquor even as more than half-a-dozen people are undergoing treatment.
Confirming the fatalities, Collector Anurag Verma said, “The deceased hailed from Chhera Manpur, Pahawli and Bilaiyyapura villages. The deaths occurred at Morena and Gwalior District infirmaries. Autopsy reports are awaited. Uncompromising action shall be initiated against the perpetrators.”
