JEE Main 2019: Important Notification for Abroad Candidates

NTA has recently published an official notification on its official website which is meant for JEE 2019 aspirants who are appearing for the exam in foreign cities. As per the notification, JEE Main 2019 abroad candidates would have to appear for the exam as per the Indian Standard Time.

Overseas candidates of JEE Main 2019 examination would have to report on their respective exam centre as per the IST and not the local time. The admit card for abroad candidates mentions the details aboutIST. NTA has made it clear that candidates who would not report on exam centres as per IST would not be allowed to take the exam.
 
The official authority (NTA) has advised the JEE Main 2019 abroad candidates to note IST for the exam and convert it into the local time equivalent. This would help the candidates to get a fair idea about the timings of the exam.
 
NTA has come up with the notification this time to avoid the confusion that affected abroad candidateslast time. During the January session of JEE Main 2019 exam, many aspirants missed the exam due to the confusion of exam timings.

As per the accounts received from students a good number of abroad candidates appeared for the JEE. Main exam as per the local time. Since they were to appear for the exam as per IST, many candidates ended up missing the January session of the exam. Thus, abroad candidates appearing for JEE Main 2019 exam are advised to go through the official notification and note down the important details addressed to them.
 
JEE Main 2019: Exam Schedule for Abroad Candidates
The JEE Main 2019 exam schedule for abroad candidates is the same as that for the Indian candidates.NTA has kept the timings and shift schedule same for all the candidates. Moreover, the revision of JEE

Main 2019 exam dates due to General Election would also be applicable for foreign candidates.
