Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik was arrested in summer capital, Srinagar today.

A police party raided the Maisuma residence of Malik and took him into custody today, a spokesperson for the front said. Mr Malik had given a slip to security forces and addressed a congregation at the shrine of Sheikh Nooruddin Wali at Charar-e-Shrief yesterday, when chairmen of both the factions of moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) were under house arrest.
