Kerala: Woman jumps off train as man attacks, robs her gold ornaments

Kottayam: A woman passenger was threatened in the Guruvayur-Punalur Express train by a person with a screwdriver and robbed her gold ornaments near Mulanthuruthy Railway station in Kerala on Wednesday.

The woman, alone in the ladies compartment, when tried to escape from the man fell down on the tracks from the running train and sustained injuries.

She was admitted to a hospital in Kochi.

The woman works as a clerk in a school in Chengannur, police sources said. (UNI)
