Maharashtra: CM Shinde orders action against 'Indic Tales' website for defamatory article on Savitribai Phule

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed the Chief Secretary to take action against the website 'Indic Tales', which has offensive writings about Kranti Jyoti Savitribai Phule.

A number of political and social organisations have placed their objections before the government regarding the website 'Indic Tales' for writing objectionable things about Phule,

Taking cognizance of these objections, Shinde has directed the top bureaucrat to check the content of this website and take action against it.

"While writing about great men, they should be very scholarly, and authors or publishing houses should take care not to insult them," said the chief minister. (UNI)
