Srinagar: Security forces averted a major tragedy when they recovered six grenades near a bunker on Monday, official sources said.
They said a patrol party detected grenades near a bunker of 28 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Bemina today. The area was immediately cordoned off and movement of pedestrians was stopped.
Later, six live grenades were recovered near the bunker by the CRPF Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) without causing any damage. (UNI)
