Man killed after tree fell on him in Shopian

Anantnag: One person was killed when a tree fell on him in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said on Wednesday.

One Nazir Ahmad Wagay, a horticulture department employee, was critically wounded when a tree fell on him near his Balpora house in Shopian on Tuesday.

However, Wagay was immediately rushed District hospital, Shopian from where referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).

He succumbed in the hospital late last night. Police has registered a case and initiated proceedings. (UNI)
