Missing 9-yr-old girl’s naked body found with throat slit near home in Jaipur

Jaipur:  A nine-year-old girl, who went missing on Saturday, was later found dead here, according to police.

The girl's naked body with her throat slit was found at the Sagar Road close to her home in Aamer Thana area. The body was sent to Sawai Man Singh Hospital for post-mortem, the police said.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law. Further probe is underway.

After receiving the information about the incident, BJP state president Satish Poonia reached Amer police station on late Saturday night and staged 'dharna' inside the police station seeking an early arrest of the culprits.

He also spoke to the Jaipur Police Commissioner over the phone and demanded strict punishment for the accused.

In a tweet, he termed the girl's murder as heinous and also shameful for the society and the state government. (UNI)
