Mumbai: Minor boy hangs himself in parked Dehradun Express

Mumbai: A 15-year-old minor boy committed suicide while hanging himself in a bogie of the parked Dehradun Express at Bandra, Terminus officials said here on Wednesday.

A case of accidental death has been registered, and efforts are underway to ascertain the victim's identity.

Senior police inspector Ravindra Shivramvar said after examining CCTV footage of the area, the boy was found roaming the area for the past several days, and on the day of the incident, the teenager entered the bogie through the emergency window and hung himself with the seat iron chain.

His body is currently at the Cooper Hospital morgue and will be handed over to the family when found, the officer added. (UNI)
